Symptoms of pneumonia include coughing, chest pain, shortness of breath, rapid breathing, sweating, and fever. Pneumonia can be treated with antibiotics, but it is important to seek medical help if you think you or your child has pneumonia.

Types of Pneumonia

Pneumonia is an infection of the lungs that can be caused by a number of different types of microbes, including viruses, bacteria, and fungi. Depending on the cause, pneumonia can be classified as viral, bacterial, or fungal.
